FAQ

PLAYERS & CLUBS

Your questions,
before and after the match.

Who can take part? What happens to your video? How do you receive and understand your report? Find the answers you need to play with confidence.

01 / BEFORE YOU TAKE PART

Players & under-18s

Is this useful if I am new to padel?

Yes. Understanding your positioning and choosing a training priority can be useful from your first matches. The report helps you review your play using the available observations. It does not replace an on-court coach, especially when learning or correcting a technique.

Do I need to create an account or download an app?

No account or download is needed to browse this website or contact us. This public version introduces TEAM Padel Studio; club and administrator spaces are not available here. The intended service lets a club organise a session and email reports to players.

Can a player under 18 have their match analysed?

First, arrange the appropriate permissions with the club and the people with parental responsibility. Sharing a recognisable image of a child requires written parental authorisation specifying the intended use. This authorisation process is not yet built into the site: it must be agreed with the club before a session involving a child. Understanding image rights for children.

Is an identity document required for players under 18?

Being under 18 does not, in itself, mean systematically sending a copy of an identity document to this type of service. Age and authorisation checks should be proportionate to the risks and minimise the data collected. An identity document does not replace parental authorisation. This site does not offer an identity-document upload. The CNIL’s recommendations.

What if one of the four players does not want to be filmed?

Tell the club before the match so that recording is not activated for that session. If recording has already started, ask staff to stop it. The service cannot guarantee the automatic exclusion or blurring of a player: recording only the other three is therefore not an option offered.

02 / FROM COURT TO REPORT

Match day

Does booking a court automatically start an analysis?

No. Ask the club to plan a TEAM Padel Studio session for your time slot and confirm the participation conditions. The service is not yet automatically connected to booking software: booking a court does not, by itself, start recording.

Do I need to film the match on my phone or upload a video?

On an equipped and configured court, the intended process is automatic: the camera films, the club device records the scheduled slot and sends the video to the server. The player then has no file to upload. This chain still needs validation in a pilot club. The club can also import a previously recorded video for a trial.

What information is needed before playing?

The club needs to know the court, time slot, participants and email addresses for the reports. Check your address and the player identification at the start of the session: a correct address alone cannot guarantee that video tracking stays attributed to the right person throughout the match.

When will I receive my report?

Once the video has been transferred and the analysis is complete, reports can be sent if email delivery is configured and recipients have been entered. Match length, the club’s connection and queued analyses affect the wait. Actual turnaround still needs measurement in a pilot club; no fixed delivery time is currently guaranteed.

03 / UNDERSTAND AND IMPROVE

My report & progress

What will I learn from my report?

You will find usable observations from your match, positioning trends and advice with explanations and exercises. The aim is to understand what could improve and what to work on in your next training session. A position map supplements the report when the measurements support it.

Does the report identify my strongest and weakest shots?

It can highlight trends when the observations are reliable enough. Shot recognition is still partial, so a complete ranking of your strongest and weakest shots is not guaranteed. The report must not attribute a fault, lost point or technical problem to you unless the video supports that conclusion.

Does the software recognise me after a change of ends?

Tracking attempts to maintain the same attribution, but this can become uncertain after a change of ends or when players obscure one another. This continuity still needs improvement. Being detected on the left or right of the court does not establish your identity; ambiguous passages may require checking with the club.

Why is a position map or some statistics missing?

Poor visibility, obscured players or inadequate framing can make some measurements unusable. A partial map describes only the usable passages, not necessarily your entire match. Missing data does not mean poor performance: it means the software lacks enough reliable evidence.

What if advice or an action does not match my play?

For a report from a trial, contact the organising club or email evan@teampadelstudio.fr, specifying the date, court and relevant observation. If a player’s identity or a measurement is uncertain, do not treat the advice as a confirmed assessment of your play. This public website does not provide access to reports or report corrections.

04 / STAY IN CONTROL

Videos & privacy

Who can view my match video and results?

No match video or personal report is accessible on this public website. In the service being prepared, access must be restricted to the relevant club and authorised recipients. Access and sharing conditions will be specified with the club before a session; an email does not create a personal player account.

Will my match be published online or on social media?

The public website does not broadcast your matches. Taking part in an analysis does not give general permission to publish your image. Before sharing video in which players are recognisable, obtain the appropriate permissions for that use, including those of legal representatives for children. Image rights rules.

How long are my video and report kept?

Retention periods and deletion arrangements must be specified in the club’s offer before deployment. Unlimited archiving is not included by default. Before taking part, ask the club how long videos and reports will remain available; their retention periods may differ.

How can I request video deletion or correct my information?

For information you sent when contacting us, email evan@teampadelstudio.fr. For a trial with a club, also specify the date and court and contact the organising club. This public website does not receive video uploads or provide self-service match-data management.

Can I find my previous matches and track my progress?

This public website does not offer personal history or video access. For a trial, keep the report you receive and contact the organising club to find a session. A player space combining videos and automatic progress comparisons is not yet offered.

05 / PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Pricing & support

Is the report included in my court booking price?

This depends on your club’s offer. Before the match, ask whether analysis is included, optional or subject to specific conditions. The club’s TEAM Padel Studio subscription price is not an amount automatically charged to each player.

How does a club subscribe to TEAM Padel Studio?

Email evan@teampadelstudio.fr or visit Pricing to prepare a quote request. We discuss your courts and needs before proposing suitable terms. This website does not offer club-account registration or online payment.

I have not received the email: what should I check?

First check your spam folder and the address given to the club. Then ask staff whether the correct session was recorded, the analysis is complete and delivery succeeded. Receiving a report depends on these steps: you do not need to start another analysis yourself because an email is missing.

Who should I contact about a problem with a match or report?

For a question about the project or a trial, email evan@teampadelstudio.fr. If a club organised your trial, also contact its team with the date, court and issue. No private support inbox is available on this public website.

06 / YOUR BROWSING CHOICES

Cookies & browsing

What are cookies and browser storage for?

These are small pieces of information stored in your browser. On this public website, they remember your cookie choice, language and whether the home-page introduction has played. No advertising trackers or audience analytics tools are enabled.

Which cookies does TEAM Padel Studio use?

Your cookie choice is remembered for 180 days, your language until storage is cleared, and whether the introduction has played for the browsing session. An older display preference may also remain in your browser. The public website does not open an account session. FAQ questions stay in your browser and are not sent to an AI service. Read about cookies and storage.

What happens if I accept or refuse cookies?

Both buttons save your preference for optional cookies and close the notice. As no optional cookies are currently enabled, “Accept” adds no tracking and “Refuse” does not block your visit. This choice is neither permission to film a match nor a newsletter subscription. New optional uses will require a new choice.

How can I change my cookie choice?

Reopen the notice using “Cookies and storage” at the bottom of each page, then choose “Accept” or “Refuse”. The new choice replaces the previous one in this browser. You can also use the button below.

Why does the cookie notice keep coming back?

Your choice is remembered for 180 days in the browser you used. The notice may reappear after that period, if you clear site data, use another browser or device, or if the proposed uses change. If your browser blocks storage, your choice closes the panel for the current page but cannot be saved for your next visit. It is not linked to your account and does not sync across devices.
